Falling stars

When we enjoy a beautiful starry night, we are often struck by sudden fireworks in the sky. These are space objects flying in the night sky. Meteorites are usually parts of scattered comets. They orbit the Sun and are usually 1 mm to 2 cm in size. Earth passes through this “dusty zone”. In conclusion, there is a noticeable increase in the entry of these particles into the atmosphere. This is meteor stream. Small light particles that burn in the atmosphere. Spectacular images of rapid fire flashes in the sky are formed.

Meteor streams

This is a body that burns in the sky, and falls to the ground. If the Earth passes through a dense cloud of object particles, then we can expect rain from these objects. This causes an increased number of objects in the sky, also called meteor streams. You don’t need telescopes to see these beautiful cosmic phenomena. Many objects streams have been registered, and I will list some of the most famous ones here. I also list the dates when you can expect object rain, as well as the comets (asteroid) that caused these events. LIRIDI – April 21 – Earth passing through the comet C / 1861 G1 Thatcher. ETA AQUARIDES – May 4 – 1 / P Halley Comet. PERZEIDS 12 Aug 109 / P Swift-Tuttle Comet. LEONIDES – November 16 – 55 / P Templet-Tuttle Comet. GEMINIDI December 13 – 3200 Phaeton asteroid.
