PLANETARY RINGS

Saturn’s ring

The planets of the solar system have known orbits. They travel around the Sun with their natural satellites. Mercury and Venus have no moons, and Saturn and Jupiter have a lot of satellites orbiting them. Everyone knows the beautiful planet Saturn with its ring. Astronomers enjoy watching the beautiful scene of Saturn. However, people are not aware that in addition to Saturn, some other planets have rings. Recently, these planetary rings have been confirmed and registered.

Planetary rings

When the name of the planet Saturn is mentioned, the first thing people think of are the beautiful rings that surround this large gaseous planet. However, many people are not aware that in addition to Saturn, three other planets have planetary rings. These are other planets: Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. But, unlike Saturn’s rings – the rings of these planets are much smaller and darker. Therefore, it took a long time for them to register. The Voyager 2 spacecraft flew over Neptune – Earth sent fascinating rings around this planet. Here you can see the rings around these planets.
